If you run bench research, you already know this. The fastest way to ruin a study is bad materials. If you've ever questioned whether the vial in your hand actually matches the COA on the site, this video is for you. I'm going to show you step by step how we source, test, and document our peptides across a catalog of over 70 compounds so you can focus on your data instead of your vendor.
My name's Josh. I'm the founder of Peptidology. We supply research grade, research use-only peptides to labs, universities, and researchers across the United States. Every product we ship is tied back to a third-party certificate of analysis. You can verify yourself before you buy, and we've shipped tens of thousands of research orders this way.
On paper, peptides all look the same. Same three or four letters, same milligrams, same buzzwords. But if you've been in the space for any length of time, probably seen things like COAs that are copy-pasted between lots, purity numbers with no real method behind them, sterility that's assumed instead of tested, or stockouts to force you to hop between vendors and compromise consistency in your protocols, the cost isn't just money. It's failed runs, unusable data, and not being able to reproduce your own work because the materials changed.
In a perfect world, you'd have one place to go where you can choose from a broad library of compounds in a single catalog where every lot is tested at independent accredited labs before it ever goes on the shelf. You can see the full COA for that specific lot before you add it to your cart. And when you place a research order before the cutoff, it ships the same business day. That's the entire reason Peptidology exists.
Let me walk you through exactly what happens before any product becomes available on our site. Step one, sourcing and lot creation. We work with a small number of specialized manufacturing partners that produce peptide lots to our specifications. Each batch comes in, is received, counted, and immediately placed into a quality control hold. At this point, nothing is sellable and nothing leaves a building for customers.
Step two, third-party testing in accredited labs. From that held inventory, we pull samples and send them to independent ISO IEC 17025 accredited labs. For each lot, they run an advanced multi-point analytical panel that typically includes identity confirmation, purity, related substances, net peptide content, heavy metals, endotoxins, trifluoroacetic acid, even performing container closure integrity, industrial solvents commonly seen in manufacturing. We also do solubility studies and an analysis. We're also testing for sterility confirmed by more than one lab. Up to 27 samples of each lot are tested, designed to screen out inconsistencies that lesser testing would release.
Now, we don't write the COAs ourselves, the labs do. Our job is to choose labs and testing standards that match the level of rigor serious researchers expect.
Step three, COAs are published before the sale. Once the lab results are back, our internal team reviews them against our internal standards. If a lot passes, we generate a certificate of analysis, we publish that COA on our site, and only then is that inventory released from QC hold and made available to order. If it doesn't meet our standard, it doesn't go live for sale. It's really that simple.
Step four, traceability and documentation. Every product we ship is labeled with a lot number. That means you can go to our site, look up that lot, and pull the corresponding third-party COA. You can also scan the QR code on the product and see the COA directly. That way, you can verify that what you have in your hand matches what was tested. And if you're doing institutional work, you can attach that documentation to your own records for audit and reproducibility purposes.
Our whole philosophy is you shouldn't have to trust the marketing. You should be able to trust the data.
Right now, our catalog includes over 70 research use only compounds across multiple research categories. So you can run most of your peptide work from a single vendor instead of juggling three or four. Orders placed on business days before a shipping cutoff are packed and shipped the same day whenever possible. Every box includes the documentation and lot information. You need to tie those vials back to their COAs. There's QR codes to help facilitate that. And if something goes wrong in transit, a package is damaged or doesn't arrive, our support team is here six days a week to get it resolved quickly so you're not sitting around waiting on replacement materials.
Quick but important note, everything we supply is for laboratory and research use only. Our products are not for human or veterinary use, and we don't provide dosing, protocol, or medical guidance. Our role is to be a reliable source of well-documented research material so you can do your job at the bench with confidence.
If you've been burned by a vendor before, you might be thinking, "Yeah, I've heard all this before." That's why we built Peptidology around transparency instead of promises. Performing up to 14x advanced testing that samples 27 units across the lot, we offer US-based labs, support, and shipments. Same-day shipping, lot-level traceability on every product, and a commitment to solve any problem you have. You don't have to take our word for it. You can look at the data yourself before you ever place a research order.
If you're a researcher who wants to spend less time worrying about suppliers and more time on your actual work, here's what to do next. Click the button right below this video. Create your free research account. Once you're in, browse the full catalog of 70-plus research use-only compounds. Before you add anything to your cart, click into the lot and review the third-party COA for yourself. And when you're ready, place your first research order, and we'll get it packaged and on its way as soon as possible. Again, click the button below, create your account, and see how we handle sourcing, testing, and documentation for the materials you rely on.
If you care about your data and your documentation, you should care about who's behind your products. I'm Josh, founder of Peptidology. Thanks for watching, and I look forward to supporting your next research project.
What you can check inside your account
What happens before a vial goes on sale
Four steps. Nothing skips one.
Every batch arrives from a specialized manufacturing partner, is counted, and goes straight into a quality-control hold. At this point nothing is sellable.
Samples from the held batch go to accredited US labs, never our own bench. Identity, purity, sterility, contaminants, and the seal on the vial.
If the batch meets our standard, its Certificate of Analysis goes on the site first. Only then is it released. If it doesn’t pass, it never goes live. 444 lab reports published so far.
Every product carries its lot number and a QR code. Look it up and pull the report for exactly what you received.
Fair questions
What researchers ask before their first order.
Everyone says “99% pure” and “third-party tested.” Why trust yours?
A purity number and a lab logo can be copied between lots. Without a report for the specific lot, from a named lab, it is just paper.
Every batch here is tested at an independent accredited US lab, the report is published before the lot goes on sale, and the lot number on your vial links to it.
444 lab reports are public right now.
There are cheaper vendors.
Cheap material you cannot verify becomes the most expensive vial you own the day a run fails: lost time, unusable data, work you cannot reproduce.
You are paying for documented identity, purity, and sterility on the lot you actually receive, and for the same material being there when you reorder.
3 in 4 orders come from researchers who have ordered before. 170,000+ units shipped.
Will it still be in stock when my protocol repeats?
Small one-off batches from vendors who vanish are how studies end up changing material halfway through.
One catalog covers most peptide work, every batch is tracked by lot, and orders placed by 2:30 PM MST on business days ship the same day from Scottsdale.
Free 2-day shipping on orders over $250.
What if the shipment is wrong or damaged?
Some vendors blame the carrier and stop answering.
Damaged or wrong item: replaced, no runaround. Unopened product: 60-day returns. A real person answers Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to midnight MST.

What “tested” actually means here
15 tests on every new batch, in plain English.
Earlier batches were tested to our earlier standard, 7 to 14 tests. Every certificate shows exactly which tests that batch had.
