- Every new batch gets a report from an outside lab. We use Vanguard Laboratory (Washington), Eagle Analytical (Texas) and Ethos Analytical (Arizona). Every result we publish is that lab's, not ours.
- Some Vanguard reports are also on the labโs own website. Those show a โVerify onlineโ link.
- Vanguard is behind on uploading, so a newer batch may not be online yet.
- Vanguard will check any of our reports for you: call (360) 967-7010 or email [email protected].
- To match a report to your vial: the batch number on the label should be the same as on the certificate.

How do I check this certificate is real?

How do I read this certificate?
- Each line is one test the lab ran on this batch, with the method the lab used.
- Identity: is it the right peptide? Checked by HPLC-UV/VIS against a reference standard.
- Purity: how clean is it? HPLC-UV/VIS.
- Assay: how much peptide is in each vial. HPLC-UV/VIS.
- Between units: do the vials match each other? The limit is 10% for vials and 15% for capsules (USP <905>).
- Content vs certificate: does the measured amount match the amount stated on the certificate? USP monographs allow 90โ110% of the label for vials and capsules alike.
- Adulterant screen: none found. HPLC-UV/VIS.
- Heavy metals: arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury and chromium. ICP-MS, limits per USP <232>.
- Endotoxins: bacterial toxins. LAL test, USP <85>.
- Residual solvents: leftover solvents from making the peptide. GC-MS, USP <467>.
- TFA: leftover trifluoroacetic acid. Ion chromatography, USP <503.1>.
- Container closure: is the vial sealed? Dye ingress, USP <1207>.
- Solubility: does it dissolve in water? Checked by eye.
- Sterility: no germs, checked two ways: the USP <71> growth test and the ScanRDI rapid method.
- Conformity: the labโs quality team signs off that everything agrees.
- PASS means the result met the limit for that test. โNot on this reportโ means the lab did not run that test on this batch.
- Earlier batches were tested to our earlier standard, so some rows on their certificates say โNot on this reportโ. Newer batches get all 15.
- The number in brackets, like USP <71>, is the standard method the lab followed. It does not mean the product is a USP article.
How has your testing changed over time?
- February 2025: we started putting a lab report on every batch. One outside lab, seven rows: is it the right peptide, is it clean, how much is inside, does that match the label, any germ dust, one germ test, and the labโs sign-off.
- April 2025: heavy metals added. Eight rows.
- October 2025: germs checked two ways, at two labs. Vanguard grows a sample for 14 days; Eagle Analytical counts living cells the same day. A batch has to pass both. Nine rows.
- February 2026: the full panel. Four tests added: leftover cutting acid, leftover cleaning liquid, is the vial sealed tight, does it dissolve. Three vials measured for how much is inside, instead of one. Fourteen rows. Every new batch since June 2026.
- August 2026: the adulterant screen: anything in the vial that should not be there. Fifteen rows on every new batch, on 23 units. Every new lab has to pass our onboarding checks first; Ethos Analytics joined in September.
- Which standard is my batch? Every certificate on this site shows how many tests that batch had: 15 for batches tested since August 2026, 7 to 14 for earlier ones. The certificate head says the number; the rows show which.
How do you choose your labs?
- Since August 2026, every new lab has to pass the checks below before we rely on any of its reports.
- No ties to product sellers. We will not use a lab that is owned, in whole or in part, by a company that sells peptides.
- We look for labs whose main clients are laboratories and industrial businesses, not consumers.
- We require ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation: an outside body has checked the lab against the international standard for testing labs.
- That outside body must be a recognized one, such as A2LA, ANAB or PJLA.
- The test methods we use on peptides must be listed on the labโs scope of accreditation: the public list of tests that lab is approved to run.
- Accreditation only for food or cannabis testing does not count.
- We ask labs to use USP test methods wherever one exists. USP (the United States Pharmacopeia) publishes standard test methods, so a test is run the same way in every lab and results can be compared.
- We require labs to run their testing under GMP or GLP: written procedures, calibrated instruments and a record of every test, so any result can be traced and checked later.
Tracking says label created โ what now?
- โLabel createdโ means the carrier has not scanned the box yet.
- It usually updates after the first scan.
- If it does not move, read the full article or ask us in chat.
What if something arrives damaged or wrong?
- Damaged or wrong item: we replace it free or refund in full.
- Unopened product: return it within 60 days.
- If the batch on your label does not match the certificate, we replace it.
- Details are in the return policy.
What makes Peptidology different?
- Most peptide sellers publish two or three tests per batch. We publish 15 tests on every new batch, on 23 units, run by several methods (HPLC, ICP-MS, GC-MS, LAL and others), including net peptide content: how much peptide is really in each vial. Earlier batches were tested to our earlier standard, 7 to 14 tests, and every certificate shows which.
- Our quality team, Nichole and Torie, are trained scientists: former analytical chemists and QC/QA managers. They hold every new batch in quarantine until it passes our testing, and reject it if it fails.
- Outside, ISO 17025-accredited labs test each batch. On 3 in 4 batches two labs are involved: one for chemistry, one for sterility.
- Every result we publish is that lab's, not ours. We only use established labs that pass our onboarding checks.
- The lab report is on this page and behind the QR code on the label. Where the lab has posted it, you can verify it on the labโs own site. The lab will also confirm any report by phone or email.
- Orders placed by 2:30 PM Arizona time (MST) on weekdays, excluding US holidays, ship the same day from Scottsdale, AZ.
- Unopened product can be returned within 60 days. A damaged or wrong item is replaced free or refunded in full.
- Earlier batches stay on the page, so you can see how each batch tested over time.
