Terms of Service

Peptidology (“we,” “us,” or “our”) sells research peptides strictly for laboratory research and development use. The following Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Peptidology website (the “Site”) and your purchase of any products from Peptidology. By accessing this Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not use the Site or purchase products from Peptidology. Please read the following terms carefully before making any purchase.

1. Eligibility and Age Requirement

Minimum Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to purchase products from Peptidology. By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time during the ordering process. If you cannot provide adequate age verification upon request, we may cancel your order.

U.S. Sales Only: Peptidology only sells and ships products within the United States. Orders for delivery outside the U.S. will not be accepted. By purchasing, you confirm that your shipping address is located in the United States. We do not support international sales or shipments.

2. Permitted Use of Products (Research Use Only)

Research Use Only: All products sold by Peptidology are intended solely for laboratory research and development purposes. They are sold with the understanding that they will be used only in a controlled lab or research setting.

Not for Human or Animal Use: Our products are NOT intended for human consumption or for use on humans or animals under any circumstances. You must not use any product in foods, beverages, drugs, cosmetics, household items, or in any other manner that would involve ingestion, injection, topical application, or any form of administration to a human or an animal.

No Medical, Therapeutic, or Diagnostic Use: You acknowledge and agree that these products will not be used for any medical, therapeutic, or diagnostic purpose. This means you will not use our products to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition, and you will not use them in any clinical trials or as substitutes for medication or other therapy.

Compliance and Safe Handling: You are responsible for ensuring that the handling and use of the products comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety protocols. All products should be handled only by persons knowledgeable and qualified in laboratory techniques and familiar with their potential hazards. You must use appropriate safety measures and personal protective equipment when handling these research materials. Furthermore, you agree that you have any required licenses or permits needed to possess or use these products (if applicable), and that you will properly dispose of any residues or waste in accordance with law.

Misuse Prohibited: Any misuse of the products, including using them contrary to the above restrictions, is strictly prohibited. Peptidology reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order if we have reason to believe that a customer intends to use a product in a manner inconsistent with its designated research purpose or in violation of these Terms.

3. FDA and Health Disclaimers

FDA Disclaimer: Statements on our Site have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The products offered by Peptidology are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Any descriptions of product properties or research findings on our Site are provided for informational purposes only and should not be interpreted as medical advice or an endorsement of any particular use.

No Medical Advice: Peptidology does not provide medical advice, and nothing on this Site is intended as a recommendation for any medical use of our products. Customers (buyers) acknowledge that our products are not medications or supplements and are not to be used as such. Always consult a qualified professional for any health or medical-related use, which is outside the scope of these research products.

4. Ordering and Payment Terms

Accepted Payment Methods: We accept a variety of payment methods for your convenience. Accepted forms of payment include credit cards, debit cards, bank transfers, cryptocurrency, and Zelle. All payments must be made in U.S. currency (USD). The availability of specific payment methods may vary and is subject to change; any available methods will be presented at checkout.

Pricing and Taxes: All prices listed on our Site are in U.S. Dollars (USD). Prices do not include applicable taxes or fees. We will add any required sales tax or other governmental charges at checkout (based on the shipping address and applicable laws). You are responsible for any sales, use, or similar taxes associated with your purchase, as required by law. If you are tax-exempt, you must provide valid documentation to us before purchasing.

Payment Authorization: By submitting an order and providing payment information, you represent and warrant that (a) the payment information you supply is true, correct, and complete, (b) you are duly authorized to use the credit card, bank account, cryptocurrency wallet, or other payment method provided, and (c) charges incurred by you will be honored by your credit card company, bank, or payment service. If your payment method is declined or unable to be processed, your order may not be accepted or may be delayed until valid payment is obtained.

Order and Payment Verification: All orders are subject to review and verification. We reserve the right to verify your payment details and any information you provide before processing your order. This verification may include confirming your identity, age, billing and shipping information, and ensuring compliance with these Terms. If we suspect any fraudulent activity or if information cannot be verified, we may delay or cancel the order. Orders are not deemed accepted until we successfully verify and process payment and send you an order confirmation.

Order Acceptance and Cancellation: Peptidology reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion before shipment, even after an order confirmation is issued. Reasons for refusal or cancellation may include, but are not limited to: suspicion of fraud or illegal activity, inability to verify payment or purchaser qualifications, inventory or pricing errors, or a breach of these Terms. If we cancel an order after you have been charged, we will issue a refund for the amount paid via the original payment method.

Cryptocurrency Payments: If you choose to pay with cryptocurrency, the exact amount and payment instructions will be provided at checkout. You are responsible for sending the correct amount of cryptocurrency to the designated wallet address within any specified time window. Exchange rate fluctuations and any transaction fees (miner fees) are your responsibility. Orders paid by cryptocurrency will be processed only after the transaction has been confirmed on the blockchain to our satisfaction. In the event of an overpayment or underpayment due to exchange rate changes or error, we will handle such cases on a case-by-case basis (underpayments may result in order cancellation or a request for the balance due; overpayments may be refunded in USD or crypto at our discretion, net of any fees).

Billing Information: You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all orders. If you use a credit or debit card, we may request additional information or documentation to verify the cardholder’s identity or address. Providing false, stolen, or unauthorized payment information is a violation of law and these Terms, and may result in order cancellation and further legal action.

Zelle and Bank Transfers: If paying via bank transfer or Zelle, instructions will be provided. You are responsible for initiating the transfer promptly. Orders paid by bank transfer/Zelle will be processed once the payment is received in our account. Please note that bank transfers may take several business days to clear. Any bank fees charged for the transfer are your responsibility. If we do not receive the transfer within a reasonable time (e.g., 5 business days), the order may be canceled.

5. Order Processing and Shipping

Order Processing Time: For orders that have passed payment and order verification, we endeavor to process and ship them within one (1) business day. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. For example, if your verified order is placed or cleared on a Tuesday, we aim to ship it by end of day Wednesday. Orders placed or cleared after our daily shipping cutoff or on weekends/holidays will be treated as received on the next business day.

Shipping Methods: Peptidology ships orders via reputable carriers (such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, or other courier services) to addresses within the United States. During checkout, you may be offered shipping options (standard, expedited, overnight, etc.) depending on your location. The delivery times associated with these options are estimates provided by the carriers and are not guaranteed by Peptidology. Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information (if available for the chosen shipping method).

Shipping Guarantee: We guarantee that any order which has completed payment and verification will be shipped out from our facility within 1 business day. If we fail to ship your verified order within one business day of verification, we will refund the shipping costs you paid for that order. This refund will be processed back to your original payment method (or provided as store credit, if you prefer) once we confirm the shipping delay was on our end.

Verification Delays: The one-business-day processing timeframe begins only after your order has been fully verified (payment confirmed and any required checks completed). If an order is held up because we are awaiting additional information from you, or due to any issue in verifying the payment or order details, that delay is excluded from the one-day shipping guarantee. In such cases, the shipping-cost refund policy for delayed shipment will not apply. For example, if we contact you for age verification or address confirmation and the order is shipped more than one business day after initial placement due to awaiting your response, no shipping refund will be given for that delay.

Incomplete or Inaccurate Information: It is your responsibility to provide accurate shipping information. If an order cannot be shipped on time because the shipping address you provided is incorrect or incomplete, or because you have not supplied information requested for verification, we are not obligated to refund shipping costs for the delay. We will attempt to contact you to resolve such issues, but the one-day shipping clock will start only once all issues are resolved.

Risk of Loss: Title to the products and risk of loss pass to you once we hand over the package to the shipping carrier. After we ship your order, it is the carrier’s responsibility to deliver it safely. Peptidology is not liable for delays, losses, or damage to packages while in transit with the carrier. However, we will assist you in working with the carrier to resolve issues such as lost or delayed packages. If a shipment is lost or damaged in transit, please notify us and we will initiate a claim with the carrier; refunds or replacements for lost/damaged goods will be handled in accordance with the carrier’s insurance policies and our own discretion.

Delivery Confirmation: The carrier’s record of delivery (for example, a delivery confirmation or tracking update showing the package was delivered to the address provided) will serve as proof of delivery. It is your responsibility to promptly secure the package upon delivery. We are not responsible for theft or loss of packages after delivery is confirmed. If you have concerns about package security, consider requesting signature confirmation or make arrangements to collect your package from the carrier’s facility.

6. Returns and Refunds

Return Eligibility: Peptidology will accept returns of products only if the item is returned unopened, unused, and in its original condition (with all factory seals, if any, intact). To be eligible for a refund, you must initiate the return and ship the product back to us within fourteen (14) days of the date you received the product. Any products that are opened, used, damaged (not due to shipping), or not in their original packaging do not qualify for a return or refund.

Non-Eligible Returns: No returns or refunds will be accepted for any product that has been opened, used, adulterated, or handled in a way that compromises its purity or integrity. Additionally, we cannot accept returns for products after the 14-day return window has passed. Any items returned to us ineligible for a refund (for example, opened items or returns outside the allowed period) may be disposed of or returned back to you at your expense, at our discretion.

Return Process: To initiate a return, you must contact us within 14 days of receiving your order (through our Contact Us page or customer support email) to obtain return instructions or a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number if required. We will provide you with the return shipping address and any other necessary details. You are responsible for promptly shipping the product back to us once a return is authorized. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot issue a refund for a return we do not receive.

Return Shipping Costs: Unless the return is due to our error or a defective product (see below), you are responsible for all return shipping costs. We do not provide prepaid return labels in cases of buyer’s remorse or unwanted items. Additionally, any original shipping charges paid on the order are generally non-refundable(except in cases of our error or failure to ship on time as noted in Section 5). If you received free shipping on your order, and you return an item for a refund not due to our error, we may deduct the actual outbound shipping cost from your refund.

Refund Processing: Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it to verify that it is unopened and in original condition. If the return meets all the criteria, we will process your refund. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow up to 5-10 business days after we receive your return for the refund to be processed (the exact timing may also depend on your bank or credit card issuer). Shipping fees and any applicable transaction fees are not refunded, except when a return is due to our error or a warranty issue. We will notify you via email when your return has been received and the refund has been issued.

Damaged or Incorrect Products: In the event that we send you the wrong product or your product arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 5 days of delivery. You may be asked to provide evidence of the damage or issue (such as photographs). For confirmed cases of incorrect or defective product received, we will offer you either a replacement (shipped at our expense) or a full refund, at our discretion. We will also cover any reasonable return shipping costs in such situations. Please do not use or dispose of a defective or incorrect product before contacting us, as doing so may affect our ability to process a claim or return.

Refunds on Cryptocurrency Payments: If you paid with cryptocurrency and are eligible for a refund under these Terms (for example, you returned an unopened product within 14 days, or your order was canceled), the refund will generally be issued in USD (to an alternative method you provide, such as a bank transfer or store credit) for the USD value of the purchase. At our discretion, we may offer to refund in cryptocurrency; however, any crypto refund will be for an equivalent USD value and may be adjusted for transaction fees. The timing of crypto refunds can vary due to network conditions.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Products Provided “As Is”: All Peptidology products and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Peptidology disclaims all warranties, express or implied, relating to the products or the Site, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the products will meet your specific requirements, that they will be of a particular quality (except as expressly stated in product specifications), or that the use of the products will be uninterrupted or error-free.

No Intended Warranties: Peptidology makes no representation or warranty that the information on the Site is accurate, complete, or up-to-date (though we strive to provide reliable information). Any descriptions of products, purity levels, or potential research applications are for informational purposes only and not intended as a guarantee. You assume all responsibility for determining the suitability of any product for your intended research use. We further do not warrant that the results obtained from the use of any product will be reliable or that the product will operate or perform in any specific manner in your experiments.

No Medical or Usage Warranty: Given the nature of the products (research chemicals), we offer no warranty or guarantee that the products are fit for any medical use or human use (since they are not intended for such purposes). Any use of the products outside of a laboratory research setting (or not in accordance with these Terms) is strictly at your own risk. Peptidology disclaims any liability for any such misuse.

Site Availability: While these Terms primarily address product sales, please note that access to our Site is provided without any warranty that it will be available at any given time or free from errors, viruses, or other harmful components. We do not guarantee that any functions of the Site (such as account features or online purchasing) will be uninterrupted or error-free, though we will make reasonable efforts to maintain operation.

Note: Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. To the extent such laws apply to you, some of the above exclusions may not apply. In that case, any implied warranties are limited to the minimum duration permitted by law, and your rights will be governed by that applicable law.

8. Limitation of Liability

No Consequential Damages: To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Peptidology or its owners, officers, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages of any kind. This limitation applies to all claims or causes of action, whether in contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Examples of the types of damages excluded include (but are not limited to): loss of data, loss of revenue or profits, loss of business opportunity, damage to property, or personal injury arising from or related to the use of our products or Site.

No Liability for Misuse: Peptidology will not be liable for any harm, injury, or damage resulting from any use of the products that is inconsistent with their intended research use or that violates these Terms. You assume full responsibility for any outcomes (including injury or property damage) arising from improper handling or misuse of the products. For example, if you or a third party ingests a product or uses it on humans or animals, you do so at your own risk, and Peptidology disclaims all liability for any consequences.

Maximum Liability Cap: Peptidology’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to any product purchased or your use of the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid us for that product or order. In other words, our cumulative liability to you for any damages or losses of any kind will not exceed the total fees you paid for the specific product(s) giving rise to the claim. If your claim does not relate to a specific product (for example, a dispute about the website usage), then Peptidology’s liability will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the past six months, or $100, whichever is greater.

Customer’s Legal Remedies: Your exclusive remedy, if you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our product or service, is to discontinue use of the product and, if applicable, seek a return/refund in accordance with our Return Policy (Section 6). If you are dissatisfied with the Site itself, your sole remedy is to stop using the Site.

Release: To the extent permitted by law, you hereby release Peptidology and its affiliates from any and all obligations, liability, and claims beyond the limitations stated above. If you are a California resident, you waive California Civil Code §1542 (which says a general release does not extend to claims which the creditor does not know or suspect to exist in his favor at the time of executing the release). This means you waive any unknown claims against us to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Note: Certain laws (such as some state consumer protection laws) may not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. If these laws apply to you, some of the above limitations may not apply, and in such cases, Peptidology’s liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Indemnification

Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Peptidology, its parent company (if any), affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and legal costs) arising out of or related to:

Your Violation of these Terms: Any breach or violation of these Terms by you (including any covenants, representations, or warranties you make herein).

Misuse of Site or Products: Any use or misuse of our Site or products by you, your agents, or anyone in your control. This includes, but is not limited to, any use of the products in a manner not permitted by these Terms (such as any human use, consumption, or other prohibited application) or any negligent or wrongful conduct.

Violation of Law or Rights: Your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or ordinance, or the infringement of any rights of a third party (including intellectual property rights or privacy rights) by you in connection with your use of the Site or products.

Peptidology reserves the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you agree to cooperate with our defense of such claim. You agree not to settle any such matter without the prior written consent of Peptidology. Your indemnification obligations will survive the expiration or termination of these Terms and your use of the Site and products.

10. Intellectual Property

Ownership of Site Content: All content and materials available on the Peptidology Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, product information, audio clips, digital downloads, and software, are the property of Peptidology or its content suppliers and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All Peptidology trademarks, logos, and trade dress that appear on the Site are proprietary to Peptidology.

Limited License for Personal Use: Peptidology grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and make personal use of the Site for the purposes of learning about our products or placing orders. No content from the Site may be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, mined, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without our express written consent. You may not use any meta tags or any other “hidden text” utilizing Peptidology’s name or trademarks without our express written consent. Any unauthorized use of the Site or its content terminates the permission or license granted by these Terms.

Prohibited Uses of IP: You shall not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any software or technology obtained from our Site. You shall not remove or alter any author, trademark, or other proprietary notice or legend displayed on the Site or printed with our products. All rights not expressly granted to you in these Terms are reserved by Peptidology and its licensors. If you wish to use any content from our Site beyond what is permitted by these Terms (for example, for educational publication or other fair use), you must obtain our prior written permission.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Governing Law: These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or related to these Terms, your use of the Site, or the purchase or use of any products from Peptidology shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, and applicable federal laws of the United States, without giving effect to any conflict of law principles that might require the application of the laws of another jurisdiction.

Jurisdiction and Venue: You agree that any legal action, suit, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site or products shall be exclusively brought in the state or federal courts located within the State of Arizona. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objections to venue in those courts. (If you are a consumer residing in a state that requires a different jurisdiction or venue for consumer disputes notwithstanding this agreement, that state’s requirements may apply to any disputes related to these Terms.)

Compliance with Local Laws: We make no representation that the products or content on our Site are appropriate or available for use in jurisdictions outside the U.S. Accessing the Site from territories where its content or products are illegal is prohibited. If you choose to access the Site from outside the U.S. (or attempt to purchase for use outside the U.S.), you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with any local laws.

12. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Modification of Terms: Peptidology reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. If we make changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Changes to these Terms are effective immediately upon posting to the Site, unless otherwise noted.

Notification of Changes: We may, at our discretion, also notify you of significant changes to these Terms via the email address associated with your account or by prominently posting a notice on the Site. However, it is ultimately your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for any updates or changes.

Acceptance of Changes: By continuing to use the Site or purchase products from us after the updated Terms have been posted, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. If you do not agree with any modification to the Terms, you must stop using the Site and refrain from purchasing any products. No change or modification of these Terms will affect any rights or obligations that have already accrued prior to the effective date of the changes (i.e., changes will not apply retroactively).

13. Miscellaneous Provisions

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, that provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent such that the remaining provisions of the Terms will continue in full force and effect. In other words, the invalid provision will be deemed modified to the least degree necessary to remedy the invalidity, or if necessary it will be severed from these Terms, and the rest of the Terms shall remain in effect.

No Waiver: No waiver by Peptidology of any term or condition set forth in these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of that term or any other term, and any failure of Peptidology to assert a right or enforce a provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Our rights and remedies under these Terms are cumulative and not exclusive of any rights or remedies provided by law.

Entire Agreement: These Terms and Conditions (together with any documents expressly referenced herein, such as our Privacy Policy and any additional terms for particular offerings) constitute the entire agreement between you and Peptidology with respect to the subject matter (use of the Site and product purchases), and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, or warranties, both written and oral, regarding such subject matter. You acknowledge that you have not relied on any representation or promise that is not expressly stated in these Terms.

Assignment: You may not assign or transfer any of your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. Peptidology may freely assign or transfer these Terms (in whole or in part) as part of a merger, acquisition, sale of business or assets, or by operation of law, or otherwise at our discretion. These Terms shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties and their permitted successors and assigns.

Relationship of Parties: Nothing in these Terms shall be construed to create a partnership, joint venture, franchise, employment, or agency relationship between you and Peptidology. We are independent parties; you are purchasing products as an independent buyer, and no Peptidology employee or representative is authorized to make any representations or warranties on our behalf unless expressly stated in writing.

Headings: The section headings used in these Terms (e.g., “Eligibility and Age Requirement,” “Returns and Refunds,” etc.) are included for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect. They shall not limit or otherwise affect the construction or interpretation of these Terms.

Force Majeure: Peptidology shall not be liable for any failure or delay in our performance (such as a delay in shipping or inability to fulfill an order) due to any event beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes or labor disputes, supply shortages, pandemics, power or internet outages, or any other force majeure event. In such an event, our obligations will be suspended for the duration of the event, and we will make reasonable efforts to resume performance as soon as possible.

Survival: Any provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination (including but not limited to provisions regarding payment obligations, ownership of intellectual property, warranty disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing law) shall survive any termination or expiration of these Terms or your use of the Site/products.
